Next Steps
Not entirely. We've carefully curated the course material to take you through the theory portion of your course in a structured way remotely. The practical element of your training, as well as your practical exam, will of course take place in person at our Milton Keynes clinic.
There will be separate exams for the different elements of your training - one theory exam, taken online, and a practical assessment, done in person at our premises. You will also be asked to complete a separate assessment throughout your studies, this is an informal written assessment that does not form part of your final mark. We will advertise existing booked exam dates as they are secured, you are welcome to join an existing date or request another one that works better for you. We'll reach out to you once you've enrolled and ask you for some preferred dates for your online exam and assessment. The notice period to arrange an exam is typically anywhere from 1-8 weeks, pending the availability of a member of Bianco Academy and an iTEC invigilator.
The exam questions are multiple choice, so the practice questions in your online training portal will closely reflect the kind of questions you can expect. This exam is typically taken online, but in person options are available. Other students, as well as a Bianco Academy representative and iTEC invigilator will be present via a video call. The exam is prescribed to be taken under exam conditions, meaning googling answers or referring to course isn't permitted.
You may be one of multiple students being assessed on the same day, however each student is assessed on their own with only the trainer(s), invigilator and model present. Your assessment criteria will be briefed to you ahead of the practical exam, but you will be assessed on patient care, presentation and treatment application, among other aspects.
Yes! You can enrol in multiple courses at one time. In fact, this may be more efficient from an exam date perspective, however, you must receive a pass mark in a pre-requisite exam in order to pass the following exam. E.g., you can't get become qualified in Level 4 Core of Knowledge unless you have passed your Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology exam.
